Dave Snyder – David was a teacher and coach at Flowing Wells High School from 1971 to 1993. David was also the Student Council adviser for eleven years. He was the Scottish Rites Tucson Teacher of the year. David was willing to help coach in whatever sport he was needed. He coached Football, Soccer and Track & Field. Track is where David made his mark. He coached multiple Division Championship Teams. David was the coach of the State Championship Girls Track Teams in both 1981 and 1982 when he earned Tucson’s Coach of the Year award. He was selected to the Kearny Invitational Hall of Fame and was recognized for his service to the 5A Southern Region.
