Marcus Titus – A 2005 graduate of Flowing Wells High School, Marcus earned one letter in Track and 4 varsity letters in Swimming. Marcus won the Regional Swim title in the 100 Yard Breaststroke and also was the State Champion in the breaststroke his senior year. He was a member of the 4 x100 medley relay that won the 2005 USA Nationals. After high school, Marcus attended Arizona State University where he set the school record in the 100 yard breaststroke. He then transferred to the University of Arizona where he also set the school record in the breaststroke. He was a ten-tim All-American for the U of A. He qualified for the US Olympic trials in both 2008 and 2012 finishing 8th and 11th respectively. He was named swimmer of the meet at the 2011 Deaf World Championships earning 5 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. He was also named the Deaf Swimmer of the Year in 2013. Marcus set 3 deaf world records in 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle.
