Ed Jordan - a 1958 graduate of Flowing Wells High School. Ed was a three sport athlete in Football, Basketball and Baseball. Ed was on the Sports writing staff of both the Arizona Daily Star and the Tucson Citizen while in high school and continued to write for both newspapers from 1957 until 1974. Ed was the high school sports editor for the Daily Star from 1957-1966. He was honored by the National Softball Writers Association, Tucson Coaches Association and the Arizona Football Hall of Fame for promoting high school sports. He was the first recipient of the Class AAA Conference High School Media Award. Ed was inducted into the Arizona Softball and Baseball Hall of Fames'.
