All-State Team in Basketball

Jim Faulks – A 1959 Graduate of Flowing Wells High School, Jim was a member of the 1959 State Champion Basketball Team. He also earned All-City, All-State and All-American awards as well as making the sporting News 2nd Team. Jim was the rushing leader for the city of Tucson while a member of the football team and set several rushing and scoring school records, 3 of which he still holds. Jim then went on to the University of Arizona where he was a 3-year Letterman. He was the starting defensive back his sophomore and junior years and the starting quarterback his senior year.
