John Bray – A 1975 graduate of Flowing Wells High School, John participated in football, baseball and track. John was a member of the 1975 football team that won the only football State Championship at Flowing Wells. During that season he set several State Records (yards per carry 7.5 and number of touchdowns in a season 24) and was selected as the player of the year by both the Arizona Daily Star and the Tucson Citizen in addition to being selected as the “Player of the Year” for the state of Arizona. After high school, John graduated from Northern Arizona University and joined the United State Navy earning the Air Medal for valor in Desert Storm.
