Tammy Leikem– A 1985 graduate of Flowing Wells High School, Tammy earned varsity letters in Basketball Volleyball and Track. She was a member of the State Champion Volleyball team and the State runner-up Basketball team. She was named captain of the All-State volleyball squad. She set the school record in the shot put at 38’6” and earned 2nd in State in 1985. Tammy made her biggest mark in basketball where she was All-Region, All-City and All-State. She set several school records in basketball in scoring and rebounding. Her record of points per game in a season still stands at 25. After high school, she went on to play for Central Arizona College for two years before signing to play at the University of Arizona.
